Applications for the 2026 Academy are now being accepted.

The Academy Is

Fly Fishing our stocked 4 A private lake.

Casting to Cutthroats in the Upper E. Satsop River, Bingham and Decker Creeks.

Casting & Fly Tying classes

Plus 26 more fly fishing related classes, fieldtrips & activities.  

Since 2002 the academy experience has propelled students on a journey that created more confident and effective fly fishers as well as creating future stewards of the aquatic.    

The Academy is a Non-Profit, All Volunteer Staffed Program of the WA Council of Trout Unlimited

Only made possible by a cadre of local fly fishing volunteers, continued support from local Fly Clubs, the WA FFI Council, T.U. Chapters, generous businesses and our great individual donors.
